KALM has provided services to clients in the fields of medical device development and manufacturing, military hardware and test equipment, electronic packaging, production tools, and product development.

KALM was established in 2000 by Arie Holtz. Mr. Holtz has been the Chief Operating Officer and Operations Manager of two startup companies in the medical devices field where he established the companies engineering, manufacturing, and Quality Assurance facilities. He has also worked extensively in design and process/manufacturing engineering. Mr. Holtz has an MBA from Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh Business School and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology).
